I thought I’d be a wimp when moving from SoCal to St Louis, but nowadays I don’t bother with a jacket until it gets below freezing...

I had the opposite experience. We moved to Florida after living in Vermont for a while. Temperatures often reached negative numbers in the Vermont winters, and I was concerned about the Florida heat. Now, I welcome 90 degree weather.
